“ | The Sand Wraith is a passive creature that makes sandy caves it's home. These harmless beings have long, glowing tendrils that sway mesmerizingly as they glide through open caves. They emit a low, melodic hum that some Dwarves find strangely calming. Don't get too distracted, however; there are minerals to be mined! |
— Miner's Manual Description |
The Sand Wraith is a passive mob found in Sandblasted Corridors. It makes its way majestically across the map by waving it's long glowing tendrils. It can be used as a source of light while it hangs around the area and seems to be attracted to loose Gold chunks.
Behavior[]
They meander slowly through open caves, avoiding tunnels, following a seemingly preordained path. When a Dwarf approaches, the Sand Wraith will alter its course slightly to avoid direct contact. Their low, humming sound intensifies slightly as they approach. Some experienced Miners claim that the Sand Wraith's hum can briefly highlight nearby minerals when a Dwarf focuses on the sound. (This has not been scientifically proven by Deep Rock Galactic R&D)
