Rockpox Exploders are the sickly mutated result of a Glyphid Exploder being infected by the Lithophage pandemic. The takeover from the sickness has killed off the Glyphid's central immune system, making them incredibly numb to pain. This numbness to pain makes these Glyphid-transformed Lithophages extremely hard to kill. They are usually found near a Lithophage meteorite during an outbreak and will defend the meteorite to its death in order to protect it.
Combat[]
Rockpox Exploders are incredibly dangerous since their infection has made them almost immune to all weapons, meaning that they have a higher chance to run towards the player and detonate. To avoid this, target their blisters before they get too close. Area-of-effect weapons such as the CRSPR Flamethrower and the Colette Wave Cooker are excellent against them as they target all of their blisters at once.
