“

The Korlok Tyrant-Weed is a hideous agglomeration of near-sentient plants, working together as one. At the center, the armored, clam-like heart of the whole structure, a biological factory pulsing with ill intent. Surrounding it, watchful, aggressive sprouts, ready to fire globules of stinging ichor at any adversary. The Heart-Clam will continually attempt to spawn new sprouts, so be sure to take the damn thing out when it opens up to give birth.

Combat

Spawns Korlok Sprouts and Healing Pods after every time its Heart-Clam opens. Sprouts will attack you with projectiles, similar to Spitball Infectors, while Healing Pods will quickly heal the Heart-Clam. The Heart-Clam only opens briefly once every Sprout and Pod has been killed; this is the chance for dwarves to damage it. The Tyrant-Weed's health bar is split into 3 equal pieces. Once one of these bars has been depleted, any Healing Pods that spawn will not be able to regenerate any portion of that depleted bar. The Heart-Clam drops Tyrant Shards when killed.

Attacks

The Korlok Sprouts spit balls similar to Spitball Infectors' attacks. The Heart-Clam and Healing Pods have no attacks.

Tips

• Shoot the Korlok Sprouts' heads for maximum damage
• Remove the pink/purple Healing Pods as soon as possible
• Avoid engaging the Weed if you do not have a substantial amount of Nitra. The Weed can take a large amount of ammo to take down
