Elimination is a mission type in Deep Rock Galactic. A large nest of large Glyphid Cocoons has been located underground, and Mission Control want the dwarves to eliminate their inhabitants, ferocious, heavily armored Glyphid Dreadnoughts.
About
The goal in Elimination missions is to locate and destroy multiple Glyphid Dreadnoughts, which are sleeping in their cocoons when the dwarves arrive. The Drop Pod is landed in a small starter room with some compacted dirt blocking the tunnels to various caverns. The mission can be done in any order, and the locations of the Glyphid Cocoons are always visible to every player. Swarms do not attack the players in Elimination missions, but hordes of enemies will occasionally attack.

Once a Glyphid Cocoon has been sufficiently damaged, it will shatter, spawning an angry Glypid Dreadnought. The Dreadnought will attack on sight, using a variety of abilities. The Dreadnought can charge forward with increased speed, spit an explosive fireball, strike the ground and summon dangerous spikes, and spawn a horde of enemies to attack the player. The Glyphid Dreadnought can only be damaged from the rear, and has two phases. During the first phase, the team must direct their firepower to destroy armor covering the rear of the Dreadnought. The armor is vulnerable to explosives, especially the Driller's Satchel Charges. Once the armor is destroyed, the Dreadnoughts weakpoint will be revealed. It has 3000 Health, and is resistant to explosions, unlike its first phase.
After all of the Glyphid Cocoons and Dreadnoughts are destroyed, the extraction phase can be started using a red button on the M.U.L.E.
While you must complete your primary objective to finish the mission, You can choose to collect an optional secondary objective resource for a Credit bonus upon mission completion.
