The Drop Pod Mark 2, also known as 'R0VER-JAMES' or 'the Rover James', was the second prototype of the drop pod, created by The Company Manager, and The Company Mechanic. In particular, this drop pod was aimed at carrying older dwarves.

The exterior of the Drop Pod Mk2 of a beige camouflage paint made to scare off glyphids. The Drop Pod Mk2 interior offers waterproof materials as well as Shackleton rear seating.

- The development of the Drop Pod Mk2 did not involve the Company Spaceship Pilot.
