The Dodo is a passive Creature found on Hoxxes. It can be found in any mission and any biome, and is fairly common. Unlike any other creature, the Dodo cannot be killed through any means, nor frozen or set on fire. It can be affected by slowdown mechanics such as Mactera Goo Bomber goo, however.
The Dodo will land on and eat any exposed Error Cube it sees in a 20 metre radius around it. If a Dodo is nearby, it is recommended to deposit the cube as soon as possible after mining it out of the wall. Inputting the Error Cube code can be difficult if there are Dodos nearby, so try and do so when none are around.
Appearance[]
The Dodo is amongst the smallest creatures in the game, slightly larger than a Hexawing Gniffer. It has a dark blue body, and orange legs and beak. It also features a bright red cape.
They have the ability to fly, and can zip around caves at high speeds. They will constantly emit voice clips. Rarely, they will approach a player and offer them the “Dodo Nugget” item, which can be consumed to be sent a Resupply Pod for zero Nitra cost.

Location & Gathering[]
Dodos are completely passive creatures and have no form of attacks. They will usually fly around aimlessly, sometimes landing on the floor and scuttling around. They move incredibly fast when flying. They will not react to being shot at or attacked. Dodos are susceptible to slowdown effects like Scout’s IFG grenades, and cannot enter Gunner shields, both of which can be useful when trying to input the Error Cube code while Dodos are nearby.

Trivia[]
- The Dodo is the only creature to have a unique, permanent “Invincible” buff. This simply reduces all incoming damage by 100%, rendering it, as the name suggests, invincible.
