The Crafting Terminal is a special terminal introduced in Season 05: Drilling Deeper that is located on the Space Rig behind the Abyss Bar. This terminal allows the player to craft Resources, chromatic and glowing Cosmetics, Equipment and Unique Overclocks that are not unlockable through Matrix Cores or Assignments.
When interacting with the crafting terminal, players can view their inventory, unlocked crafting recipes, and craft history.
Unlocking[]
The Crafting Terminal is always visible but not normally interactable. It is unlocked once a Dwarf unlocks and orders every beer from Lloyd and tips at least 1,337 Credits. Once unlocked, dwarves will start to accumulate resources in their inventory that were not previously stored in inventory, such as Apoca Blooms, Boolo Caps, Gunk Seeds, Korlok Tyrant-Weed shards, and others. Previously collected resources will not carry over into this new inventory.
Crafting Terminal[]
The player will be able to craft recipes here for a certain cost. The cost to craft these recipes can be seen in the Crafting Recipes page.
Error Cubes are used in most recipes. A popular misconception states that the chance of finding these cubes increases once the crafting terminal is unlocked; but actually, the Error Cubes have a 100% chance to spawn in a mission regardless; the terminal being unlocked merely makes them more likely to spawn at the surface and therefore be easier to find. The host of a mission must have the terminal unlocked for this change to take effect.
Recipes[]
Recipes are unlocked by completing certain hidden achievements. Some examples include killing a Glyphid Dreadnought with a Glyphid Bulk Detonator, dying from a fall of at least 100m, killing a Korlok Tyrant-Weed with a Resupply Pod, or completing a mission by only using a Pickaxe.
Recipes are used to unlock normally hidden unique overclocks, cosmetics and equipment.
