Bittergem is a very rare bonus resource. When extracted and deposited, it grants 1000+ bittergem units, which give bonuses to exp and credits, very similarly to Gold.
Currently it's only use is to provide bonuses to credits and exp at the end of the mission.

Bittergem is a large glowing bright pink chunk of crystal.
The area that the crystal is buried in is dotted by small bright pink crystals and a pink glow, similar to other resources hidden within the walls.
Locations
Bittergem can be found in any environment, albeit very rarely.
