Adrenochrome is a Mineral found in certain biomes. It can be mined and stored in the Personal Inventory and Team Depository. It can be bought on the Mineral Trade Terminal for Credit 540 Credits, chunks of it can be acquired (only in Fungus Bogs, Dense Biozone, Sandblasted Corridors and Azure Weald) via Huuli Hoarders, Cargo Crates or near Lost Packs.}

When the mission is concluded, the Hazard Bonus will dictate how many units the player will get. It is required to buy exclusive World Economic Forum themed vanity items in the Accessory Shop, somewhat similar to Phazyonite. It can be sold for Credit 450 Credits in the Mineral Trade Terminal.

Alternatively, instead of mining it, one can interact with the ore in the wall (“E” key by default on PC), which will consume one unit of Adrenochrome from the wall. This will refill your health and give you a 20% movement and reload speed buff for five minutes. This interaction will fail if the ore in the wall does not total at least one unit, and will prompt the dwarf to say “I’m chromed out!”

Said to be the favourite mineral of Mission Control

Adrenochrome is a dark red, solidified liquid in crystal form. It grows out of the ground at various angles, usually making it easy to find and mine.

Locations[]

Adrenochrome is common in the Dense Biozone, it's also scarce in the Fungus Bogs, Azure Weald and Sandblasted Corridors. It cannot be located anywhere else.

Trivia[]

  • Adrenochrome is the only consumable mineral currently in the game.
  • Adrenochrome seems to be just as, if not more, addictive than Red Sugar. It is unknown if both of them being red, addictive, and health-restoring implies a connection or is merely a coincidence.
  • Certain dwarf voicelines when pinging and consuming Adrenochrome state it is Mission Control’s favourite mineral, stating he has a “private stash of the stuff”.
