Los Pozos de Sal son uno de los biomas de Hoxxes IV disponibles en Deep Rock Galactic, y están ubicados en el centro del planeta. Esta zona la componen cuevas salinas que contienen gran cantidad de cristales rojos de gran tamaño (aunque no tienen función alguna). El suelo está repleto de pequeños cristales rojos puntiagudos que se rompen al pisarlos. Los Pozos de Sal tienen grandes cámaras subterráneas, conectadas por túneles, y también están repletos de cristales que producen luz (hasta que son destruidos).

The biome-specific hazard for the Salt Pits are Unstable Crystals, which are located on the ceiling. They can fall down on an enemy or ally which greatly damages them, however they will not fall unless dislodged by weaponry or explosions.
There's also Unstable Platforms, which when stood on for too long will break apart and any unfortunate dwarf will fall right through.

As with every biome, some of the ores which can be found in the Salt Pits are determined by the mission type, such as Morkite or Aquarq.
The crafting materials found in the Salt Pits are 
Enor Pearl and 
Bismor, with Enor Pearl being abundant and Bismor being scarce.
